New Celebration Items

Little by little, we're adding the various Celebration releases to the database, one of them the EU 12" picture disc, which exact origin I'm wondering about. Is it made in Germany or in the UK? Come join the discussion here.

Check out the Celebration single page, the Celebration album page and the Celebration video page.

Introducing the Diary of a Record Bulimic

Read about my addiction in my new blog. I promise it won't take me too far away from MadonnaCollections.net.

Where is the Royal Box?

Being a cool geeky site, MadonnaCollections.net has its own Easter eggs, in the form of two hidden pages for the Royal Box (one for the CD version, one for the cassette version).

I could tell you where to find them, but then they wouldn't be Easter eggs, would they?

Help needed

You might have noticed that the song database (a.k.a. the songbook) needs completing. If you like filling forms, you can give us a hand.

E-mail webmaster@madonnacollections.net for instructions (and gratitude).

New Songbook Section Open to the Curious-Minded

You can all catch a glimpse of Madonna Collections Version 2 (Beta!) — a.k.a. mc2b — by visiting the newly opened songbook section.

In this section, you'll find a rather incomplete database of all Madonna songs and remixes, which will eventually be linked to the discography section.

By visiting, you will also get a rare chance to witness painstaking web design in the making...

Current Madonna Collections users should log onto version 1 first, so that their account will be upgraded for version 2.

If you're a patient and meticulous person willing to help, please let me know.

Twitter Frenzy

I opened a Twitter account for MadonnaCollections.net a few months ago (I was an early Twitter user myself). I got a few followers (some real people, some spammers) but lately things have taken a new turn. March brought 38 (edit: 48) new followers so far, which is as many as the past 8 months altogether. No need to say I didn't do anything to make it happen...

Is Twitter the next big thing? Or should I run away from the birds?

(This is normally a pictureless blog, but I thought this fitted)
